Title: Windows will not start goes to command prompt

when i turn pc on it goes to DOS screen and says:drive c has no label  volume serial number 1d36-11eb.  I dont know how to remedy this.   Any help is greatly appreciated.

more info like operating system? protections when it started doing this what changes u made before this started happening software hardware etc and can you go into safe mode??

rapidly tap f8 before windows loads

try going into normal mode that way too

It sounds like it is booting into DOS. Is this a computer you have just received or have you had it for a while?

Try from safe mode then enter normal mode

Mystery solved! You got a computer without Windows on it, is all. The previous owner did the right thing. Dealers in used computers almost always do this. When selling a used computer, the correct legal thing is to remove all software which is not licensed to the new owner. This is the normal, legal, right thing to do when selling a used computer. The seller did nothing at all wrong. You have to buy Windows.

okie try with any LIVe linux CD  boot and try

or install Windows opration systems in this HDD and check
