Title: What are some things I could do in this scenario?

I am having a problem with my IBM computer. When I boot the computer, there are three beeps, then one beep, them three beeps. What does this mean?

I believe it's Morse Code for "Need more info."

These are scenarios that are given to me from a hardware/ software support college teacher. Looks to me that the only thing you know is how to be a smart *censored*.
