Title: Access Denied to Old Files
Post by: Miss_Amazing on May 17, 2007, 04:30:21 PM
I have Windows XP Home Edition. My mother has run System Restore on it several times in an effort to speed it up. Last time, however, she did it before I could copy my files onto floppy disks. My account was password-protected at one point (though it wasn't when she ran System Restore) and it is entirely possible that I protected my files in some way. Now I can't open any of the files from my old account. When I try, I get an error message that says the account is not accessible and access is denied. I've tried all I can think of to get them. Can anyone help?
Thanks.  :)
