thanks for answering!

Nothing happens when I print - whether I select the printer icon button or use the drop down file menu and select print - nada - zippo

I've been changing the format on my emails to plain text and printing them, but that doesn't help with Web pages

Leslie Clark....You never said when this started . Has that printer ever printed correctly?
Is the printer a shared printer or part of a network ?
By any chance did this start after installing a win 2000 update ?
let us know

I got a new computer 6 weeks ago, the problem started right away.  I'm using my old HP 6122 printer- never had the problem before with my old computer and Windows 98.  I can hook up to the network printer or my desktop printer and still have the same problem.  The guy at my computer store couldn't figure it out.
