I am using an ASUS motherboard. The problem is when I installed the Windows XP SP 2, I cannot find a compatible USB 2.0 driver for it. The CD that come with the motherboard have only an USB driver compatible with Windows 98 and ME. I can't find a driver for my motherboard that is compatible with Windows XP. I am thinking of upgrading my motherboard to a new ones. I am using a Intel P4 processor. Can I upgrade the motherboard that is compatible with my processor and use my old processor in it? Or I also have to upgrade or replace my processor with a new ones?
Thank you very much for your help.

might not have to, but what's your price range anyway
:)

What model of motherboard do you have?
-
any price that is affordable...
maybe around PHP3000 - PHP5000
its in Philippine Peso...
its our currency here...
I am planning of upgrading it so that I will have a USB 2.0 driver that is compatible with Windows XP SP 2.
Because my old ASUS Motherboard is not supporting it.
So im just wanna know if I can get my processor from my old ASUS motherboard and put in a new motherboard that will support the processor.
Is that possible?
Or I also have to upgrade my processor?
thank you.

Knowing that you have an Asus board is not enough, it's like saying you have a Ford car and asking the mechanic to give you the right parts without even seeing it.
