Title: monitor go into test mode

I'am running xp sp2 . Just replace my video card (with ati radeon x1300/x1550 series) now when my monitor is idle it goes into self test mode.

Is this a problem?
Does it still work OK?
All I see is that your monitor tests itself when it "becomes idle" - what do you mean by this?
Do you mean when it turns off due to the power saving options?
