This is for everyone. I was wondering what everyone thinks is the best game ever created. Or the best series ever created. Ex.Half-Life, war craft, C&C Etc..

Halo 2 campaign was kind of disappointing. Also, Bungie released it too early. They didn't get rid of all the bugs and the texture sometimes loaded very late. Maybe if they worked on Halo 2 like half a year longer, it would be just as good as the storyline for Halo 1.

What's the difference between them? You can't really change a game like Pong too much.

Well actually Halo 2 campagin the more realistic but the storyline isn't as good as Halo 1.
As for Halo 2 multiplayer, a bazillion times better that Halo 1. Although Halo for the PC multiplayer isn't bad at all.

I haven't really played multiplayer on Halo, because I usually just stick to campaign. Co-op mode's cool, because when I play with...
a)... my brother, we just blast through the levels and kill everything (he rules at FPS games)
b)...my cousin, I have so much fun because we just stuff around (she tried getting a tank through a narrow crevasse by lifting it off the ground with a grenade!!!)
And I don't get time to see cut-scenes (as much as I want to, my partner is too eager to keep playing), so I can't really judge too much on the storyline.

I bet i'll win if I got against him. One time I had 2 friends over. We played medium-long range weapons, no shields and it was both of them VS me. My score was 468 and both of their scores were 200 something. I beat them by i think 18 points.

Of Halo 2? I have no idea of the storyline (except that the alien dude is trying to catch the Prophet of Truth...)

As for knowing the storyline of Halo 2, i guess you could categorize me as a Halo Geek. I know pretty much everything to do with the Halo series

halo's gotten boring over the years... the only fun way to play and do new things now is with a trainer, and especially a modded trainer, like where you can set how high you can jump, or if running into walls causes damage. my friend and i moded one where we set the distance the elites can roll, and made it pretty far, like 5 metres, so they'd roll and hit a wall and die cause of the damage cheat ;D other than new stuff like that tho, it's a bit disappointing. unlike final fantasy.. i'd play final fantasy in real life if it was legal to carry around my buster sword replica and chop people up :-X

This is a hard decision for me.
The C&C series is great, for me it just defines strategy games.
Doom series rocks, that was the definitive father of the FPS genre.
And in modern times, the BF series stands out as great games which are fantastic for multiplayer.
Finally, Halo gets a mention. Great story, good graphics even restricted by the Xbox, easy to play and great multiplayer.

ummm... i would say..........starcraft(C&C, warcraft) and ff series, just because my freshmen year in high school when i was a student worker me and my boss would use tables to make plans how to beat the missions and stuff(8hrs of this during the summer...)

I quite like the Bond series. I know Goldeneye is old but its still the pinnacle, but I like Just BEING Bond, with the gadgets, the cars and the music.
Metroid Prime and Zelda
I'm not proud of this but i've also followed the Myst series.
Splinter Cell, Star Wars
Thats about it........
But I couldn't really say which my favourite is, I just know which games I look forward to before they come out and i enjoy all the above.

i like the sims... and final fantasy!!!!!! oh.. i said that already.. i like any sort of customisation in any way at all... i think that's why i also like games like tony hawk's pro skater or need for speed etc. because you can customise. possibly also what got me into making my wonderful game... which hasn't progressed as far as it should have >.<

But I dont play the Sims 1 anymore. Now its all the Sims 2
Which, unfortunately, I only have one expansion pack.
The Sims 2 Seasons. (<< Main addition is weather, which is very cool)

The Sims is a fun series of games always coming out with new items, people, Pets!. Never gets old! I like all the Star Wars games. But there was a time when Lucas Arts made TOO MANY SW Games. KOTOR was and still is a critical series! Geez I can't believe this but no one has said Pokemon! He he Just Kidding.. But seriously.. ;D

I actually really enjoy the Pokémon series. I'm not a fan of the whole franchise (the cartoon really bugs me), but I think the games are great. It's one of the best handheld RPG's I've played. It provides hours of fun and loads of replayability. Great game for obsessive completists. Pokémon Stadium doesn't offer a whole lot, but it's fun if you have a friend. I've only played the original Japanese version that wasn't released in the States (cost me $80 for the game, Game Boy attachment, and N64 mod), so newer versions may have more features. Pokémon Snap was a little ridiculous, but I have to admit that it was tons of fun, although a bit too easy. Pokémon Puzzle League is easily one of the best games I've ever played; even better than the original Tetris Attack. It's a very enjoyable game and easy to get hooked on. Even the Trading Card Game is a lot of fun.
The game may have been overhyped a bit and the market was horribly flooded with merchandise, but it's with good reason. This is one franchise that can definitely hold its own and live up to a lot of its hype. Nintendo knows a good thing when they see it.
And while we're on the subject...Dragon Quest is another great series, and VIII is one of funnest games I've played. It gets pretty hard towards the end, but there's a real feeling of satisfaction once you've completed it. And the Alchemy system is fun to play around with.
Since I'm still talking about RPG's, I should mention that Grandia II for Dreamcast is one of the best ones I've played, and it's one of the few that I actually enjoy going back to every now and then. Suikoden II is another fun one and although it's been out for awhile now, I can't wait to finally play Suikoden III.

I should go pick up a DS so I can play the newer Pokemon games and some of the crazy DS games! I am stuck with a PSP for now.

I think of the PSP as more of a multimedia device, rather than a game-playing console. But at least PSP has Loco Roco (played it once yesterday; strange yet addictive)!

Yeah. I mainly use it for listening to music. Cause it came with a 4Gb Memory stick. I only have 2 games for it. Medal of Honor and GTA: Vice City Stories. I also like playing 1000's of flash games on my psp using the Internet browser.

mine's modded ;D it has 4 extra usb ports so i can use a ps2 control for it, and in case i want a spare ps3 controller. it also has a see through case and different colour lights. my main power light is red, and the hard drive activity light is a black light ;D but i dropped it a few times and now the wireless and gaming capabilities are... well.... screwed... :'( :'( :'(

Best game series ever made well.......... Mario kart (snes), and mario kart double dash(gamecube)... there my 2 fave games ever .............

Mariokart DS is a very cool game! But I must admit that Double Dash has been my VERY favorite of all! Although the Mariokart for the Wii isn't looking too shabby. Online battle mode..... I can't wait! ;D

If you guys wanted to play the best player in the world , you would have to play my mum , she rocks!!!!!!!! She beat a rainbow world, world record set by japans top player , i urged her to let record it and she said nooooo , i loose to her all the time and im pretty good ....... as for the ds version thats pretty good , i like the mini-games on it , kept me entertainned for a while but still needed to be a bit better the acceleration wasn't exactly great.......

Yeah, the minigames were a lot of fun. Bowser's Castle was amazing! I loved the rotating bridge! But some of the minigames got a little annoying (just because they were hard lol) Mariokart 64 was good too. I wish they had the Skyscraper level in Double Dash though. :)

Theres a whole lot on double dash that should have been made better , the last car you unlock the golden car that thing goes so slow , that should be the fastest , my characters are the baby buggies ......... you should also be able to play more levels theres hardly any lol mario kart 64 is another great game havent played it as much as the snes or the cube version , ive just set up my snes and n64 lol got the urge to play mario kart now , and super mario 3 :D.......and maybe mario and yohshi...........
Its not my fave but the best game ever released on the n64 was golden eye , i do love but not as much as mario on the snes the battle mode on the snes is so much better than the cubes version , i love the balloon bash thats so fun , me and my mum used to play that all the time when i was younger i remember here letting me bunk when i 1st got it lol so we could play it lol ........ i never get board of my snes , im gunna keep it untill like 2020 and she if the price goes up on it , but right now im after a game boy pocket from one of my local 2nd hand shops , pokemon gol red and blue are my fave games ever to be on a hand held system , they offer so much entertainment even after you have completed the game theres still a ton you can do :d im 18 as well and i still want to play pokemon :D

Yeah the Gold Car is very slow and doesn't handle all that great. My people are the mushroom people and their special kart. My college buddy and I would play Pipe Plaza on battle mode for literally hours on end. Lol even now that I've graduated, anytime I got to visit him we still play a lot. It's just a great game!
I've never played Pokemon until just recently. Just in the past 2 years I've become an RPG fan and so I decided to give Pokemon a try lol. I'm 23 and I enjoyed it. (yes I know, I'm a nerd or dork or whatever that makes me) I just love RPGs. :)

POKEMON kicked but when it came to are screens , i was so in love with that show and then yu-gi-yo game what a series until it went into the shadow realms how boring......

I'm with Reaper on this one. I never watched the cartoons or bought the cards or anything like that. But the gameboy games are really good. The one for the Gamecube is really good too.... can't think of what it's called. All the colors start running together after awhile and I can't remember which was which.

I wasn't a big fan of Pokemon (complete lie)
When I was a kid, I liked the show, since it was the only dang thing on Public Broadcasting
I didn't really like the game, but then again, I never really played it.
I wasnt a big fan of the newer Gameboy Advanced, or the Gameboy DS. I never really found any good games. Thats why I saved all my money (since I was 11 years old) to buy a laptop, which I finally did back in March, and I am using it at this VERY MOMENT to type this VERY MESSAGE
It has better games than Gameboy had... like Solitaire, MahJongg, Chess... (I dont even know how to play chess... I need to find a good 3D Checkers game that uses the Windows Vista Chess API)
Oh, and the Sims 2 Seasons... thats a good one

Yeah I had GTA 3 once and it was fun to a point, but then it just got old so I got rid of it. Plus it was a little bit much for me too.

Final Fantasy, from what I've played of it (3 and X) was very good. I actually bought the Advent Children DVD and was THROROUGHLY impressed! I want the sword Cloud had in it.

Yeah I wanna get FF7 but for being a PS1 game it's still REALLY expensive! I guess that just goes to prove that it's good. :) Like it's still like $40-$50! Oh well, maybe one day. :)
