Title: IE 6.0 Registry Issue
Post by: Meriwether on November 09, 2004, 05:58:21 PM
I had an error message "Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on theis page"
It was tracked down to a faulty zone 0 setting  in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings\Zones\0
1200 set to 65536, set to 0 to correct problem. After reboot, setting is back to 65536.
Any ideas?

Merlin,

Thanks, I looked at that, but my problem only seems to be with Local pages. It shows when Norton Anti Virus opens for the scheduled scan, and when I attempt to open the setup CD for my HP iPaq (Looks like opening anything local that uses IE)

Many Thanks,
Meriwether
