Title: Microsoft.net Framework 1.1 problems
Post by: bo130 on July 13, 2007, 01:11:45 PM
I don't know how extensively microsoft's recent problems with their updates have been discussed here, but I was unable to download the security update for Microsoft.net Framework version 1.1, service pack 1 (KB928366).  I originally got some advice that recommended uninstalling 1.1 alltogether, and then re-installing 1.1, then service pack 1, and then I would be able to successfully download the new security update.

Well, I uninstalled 1.1, reinstalled it, and now I not only can't download the new security update, I can't even download service pack 1.

I'm stuck, and I don't know what do to.  I'm not sure if I need to uninstall framework 2.0 and 3.0 in order to do this.  Any help at all would be appreciated.  Thank you

I would just DLoad and install SP2. Then you should be able to DLoad and properly install all updates and the .net frameworks...
