This could have A LOT of potential... I like this quote: "In theory the discovery could be used to levitate a person"
Levitation has been elevated from being pure science fiction to science fact, according to a study reported today by physicists.
In earlier work the same team of theoretical physicists showed that invisibility cloaks are feasible.

Now I can not only sneak into places undetected, but I can fly into them!!
-
i think the invisibility sounds cooler :P
i want both though >.<
-
If they have really solved the mystery, maybe they can explain how Chris Angel does it.

Sweet! I might build an umbrella that uses radio signals to hover over me instead of me having to hold the umbrella during a rainy day.
NO ONE CAN STEAL THIS IDEA!
-
To late I already used it and it is in production!
lol
Jonas ;)
-
Sorry Jonas, I already have the product in the market!
-
Oh no prob I'll ask a patent they don't know about you so... :P
That way you will have to stop the production and I will be richer than Bill Gates.
Jonas ;)
-
Oh well, I can still get a patent on my wheelless skateboard. :P
-
Yeah but i've already sold a million of my umbrellas.
-
Now people can skateboard in the rain without getting wet or slipping!
-
Sweet! Although I don't know how to use a skateboard...I guess I'll make a hover-bike.
-
A skateboard without wheels would only be used by fakers as you can't grind with it cause your hovering.
You also wouldn't be able to do a powerslide.
Well I wish you good luck with it!
Jonas ;)
BTW: A hover bike does already exists.

that's from a video game buddy.. it looks like the sims even... could be wrong though. you could have at least used the "hover" technology from doom 3 :P at least it's more visually appealing.
but ok..
none of you realise that i've already patented and mass produced my invisible, levitating oxygen. selling for $300/square cm ;)
-
Physically speaking, I thought levitation was simple. Any upward force greater than gravity = levitation.
Now, getting it to hover in the air is a matter of precision: How much more upward force?
Getting it to come down without hurting the person... well... they're on their own. :P
-
Making something hover/levitate is quite simple...controlling it's movement is the hard part.

Well it looked realistic. :-\ :-[

Will something float if it's density is less than air?
