Anybody know how to get an IPADDRESS on a SPARCclassic? Mine just says admin$....i type in ifconfig...and nothing comes up

It should be ipconfig instead of ifconfig. (Wrong info this is only the case for Windows)

No it shouldn't. Not on a SPARCclassic, which is an early-1990s SUN Unix machine.

ifconfig is the correct tool.

Sorry about that I didn't know that.
Next time I won't say anything about something I don't know I just thought it was a easy mistake.

You mean the Leet thing? The controllers of this forum have changed the names of the status levels. I didn't "get" it, it was forced upon me.
