Title: unidentified virus???

hi! there's this virus that modifies a process so that the process eats up 100% of your CPU usage, thus, you can no longer run any programs. does any of you know what kind of virus this is? and how do i remove it? please please help... :-/

Benj....What O/S are you using ? Have you tried opening
your task manager to see whats eating up your resources? You might try reading more here

Download Stinger from the link above. Then get the latest Ad-aware and reference file (unzip the file to the c:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-aware 6 directory). Now boot into Safe Mode and run both Ad-aware and Stinger. This should do the trick.
