Post by: wildwood on October 24, 2007, 11:13:21 AM
I have begun publish a brochure on Microsoft Publisher. It will be in the 50-100 MB size range. I can convert it into a pdf format. How do I compress such a sized pdf file so it can be sent via email with Outlook. I have winrar will that be suitable. And if it is, how do I use it?

I don't think, you can compress it under 10MB. 10MB is usual max file size, which is allowed by your ISP.
Two choices:
- split a file into parts smaller, then 10MB, using Gsplit, for instance (http://www.gdgsoft.com/gsplit/)
- upload a whole file to a site like GigaSize (http://www.gigasize.com), and then you can send download link to your clients.
