Title: Built in Web cam

Hi all
A friend has just got a hp touch  screen PC with a built in web cam, but is unable to get it to work, he has msn and we went thro the set up all was ok but no picture " unable to connect web cam as there is no web cam or it being used by another program", we put a  normal web cam in a usb and it all work OK  ???

any help would be great,

What's the model number of this device?
Did it come with an installation CD of some sort?  If it's a new piece of hardware that didn't come with the computer, it will need drivers.
Has your friend tried contacting the HP support?

Hi Yes,
Contacted HP, ran thro a set up which works, next time it did not, he is not to keen to go thro this again @ £ !!!!'s

Just found out that the pc is a "Hp Touchsmart Iq 771"
