Hi there, I just joined up so I could try to get some help with a virus my computer has.
Not too sure what it is other then ADWARE.
Win32:Adware-gen [Adw]
Is what comes up in my Avast, yet it doesn't really stop it at all.
Description:
I am constantly getting yellow signs saying I have a virus, then opening pages to buy Products to take them away (I know not to). I also have 2 icons created on my desktop, and I can't find how to get rid of them, one blue:live safety guide, and one green:Online security guide.
I haven't clicked one because I know they appeared whenn the virus appeared.
I get about 10 notifications a minute now.
I did 2 entire boot scans with Avast, and neither helped.
If anybody could help me with a solution that doesn't involve money or dumping my computer, that would be great :)
