Title: IE7 will not allow download
Post by: eddie460 on December 26, 2007, 08:10:45 PM
Using Vista Home Premium and IE 7.0.6.  Running McAfee with McAfee Firewall.  For the past 3 weeks I have not been able to download anything from the web.  After selecting a save file and starting the download the clock starts and appears to time out and the download should be there. The download   is not in my PC.  The same thing happens when I try to Run instead of Save.  Have tried with all security turned off.   Please I really need your help and suggestions here.
Thanks, eddie460

Try going to Tools-->Internet Options-->Security-->Internet Zone-->Custom Level

Scroll down about 1/3 where the heading is downloads, then ensure that enable is clicked.

Note: Be sure to scroll past the ActiveX downloads.

Hope this helps. 8)

Ask your friend to download it for you, and put it on CD.
