Hi, I'm a newbie here.
I suppose lucky for me, I don't get lots of email. But, some emails I want to receive including those from a good buddy, always go immediately to my deleted items file. When I hit "Send/Receive" I can see his emails coming in for a split second then its gone. When I click on the deleted items icon - there they are. I've tried everything to figure out how to change this without success. I've never to my knowledge, right clicked on any of his emails to add it to the "junk email senders list". If I did, how does one go about correcting that.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome to CH forums.
Your situation depends on your email server. It would be helpful if you specified that.
Common solutions would be your filters. Some systems allow you to filter out your incoming emails, so that all emails from a certain address goes directly to deleted folder. This helps prevent spam email.
You can access your filter settings (again this depends on your server), through your email options, often displayed as a link.

Thanks for the fast reply JXY! I receive my email through MS Outlook. I hope this helps you to help me further. Thanks.

The only things that can cause this is are some settings in Message Rule, Blocked Senders, or a spam program.

As Broni said, normally it's some settings (like blocked senders) which cause your described issue.
try accessing your outlook settings/options. See if you can find the setting you're looking for there.
Sorry for being so vague, but i don't use microsoft outlook, so can't give any specific details. Perhaps someone else who does use outlook can step in now should your problem persist.
