Title: NTLDR is missing, press ctrl+alt+del to restart
Post by: Mulberry_MD on January 04, 2005, 11:42:09 PM
I have a Gateway Solo 1450 laptop with WinXP-Home from factory. A few days ago when I turned it on it started to boot normally. Lights on keyboard above numlock, caplock, etc flashed as normal, but seemed to stop after the floppy light lit. The error message,"NTLDR is missing, press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart appeared in the upper left corner of black screen. Did as instructed and it restarted, but with the same results. I think I have e-mailed every tech at Microsoft and have followed their instructions, but none have worked or confused me more. They finally suggested your site, Please help!
