Title: AIM Issues (unspecified on the AIM help page)

I use AIM 6.5, against my will -- 6.0 was great, but we had to wipe my harddrive because of a random virus, blah blah.  You know the deal.

This was a week ago.  A friend of mine had sent me an offline message, and it has been popping up every time I log on, no matter which computer I use (so no blame on the virus).  I tried turning off the setting for offline messaging, but that doesn't work, either; they still send.  Any idea how to remedy this problem?  Thanks.
