I just wanted to say Thanks for your selfless technical and interpersonal efforts in this forum!  I'm amazed to see such a collection of patient, credible experts in one spot.

I've had a pesky "System Alert" icon blinking in my system tray for a year now.  I searched System Tray and found several good discussions here about applying SpyBotS&D.  I did, and the pest went away.

This is significant because... I've been running a purchased version of PestPatrol for about 2 years now (ver 4.1.1...) and PP (runs at every boot, updated monthly) has never picked it up.  SpyBot found and eliminated it.

Other than my laptop being in the shop getting a new OS I don't have a problem... just wanted to express my appreciation for all you guys do!
