Well i was dared at school to make a DragonBall Z video using a webcam and PC software.... and so far all i can find is After Effects CS3... and i doubt a 12 yr old like me can afford the 720 bucks for it :)... and i dont want to do one of those Warez or code cracks... so i need a program similar to that, but freeware... and not quite as big :)
And if your going to say: theres a trial just use that!
im going to respond: Yeah download 1.2gigs for that one project... right... on my dial up? *scoffs*
Thanks-
~Simitra
EDIT: atleast i THINK its 720 bucks... been googling it and some sites say 1000... others say 500... :/ im unsure... well that doesnt matter :)
-
I applaud your decision not to go warez!
Have any friends with broadband to download the trial for you?
-
dude... I'm lucky to have a PC at my school... with internet I'm the luckiest S-0-B in the world
-
Although I'm not a fan of it, windows movie maker will do it. It should be on your computer already if you have win xp.
-
How dare you! i will not use windows products. no, xp is not a windows product :P...
lolz jk ill try it

I've gotta ask; where in the world are you? You're not in Langdondale, PA are you?
-
I used to live in Pittsburg, PA... back about 10 years ago :) now im on the other side of the country. Why do you ask?
-
Langdondale is the first place I could think of where someone would be considered lucky to have dial-up. My grandmother lived there. It's near Saxton, which isn't far from Bedford . . . not that you have any reason to know those places either. :) Probably about 2 hours east of Pittsburgh in the middle of nowhere.

Well, hey... If you have access to a mac... I'd recommend iMovie much more anyway... it's a thousand times better than any video program on windows (including pinnacle).
-
There is a MacBook in my house... but its my dads and if there is a FINGERPRINT of mine on it he will freak and i will get grounded for like a month...

You don't want to touch that thing anyway, they kill braincells. ;)
-
haha. It's possible that they kill brain cells, but I think the better statement would be that you need less working brain cells to operate one ;)
-
Maybe they just encourage brain atrophy then. ;D
-
Very possibly..... :-X

all about you, is it? ;D
I thought you'd decided you were going to use windows movie maker (ugh)...
Really, i don't know if you're going to find another video editing program for pc for free.

You can have a DVD of Creative Suite 3 Master Collection shipped to you for $24.99 (http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/mastercollection/trial/). This has trial versions of:
Adobe InDesign® CS3
Adobe Photoshop® CS3 Extended
Adobe Illustrator® CS3
Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional
Adobe Flash® CS3 Professional
Adobe Dreamweaver® CS3
Adobe Fireworks® CS3
Adobe Contribute®
Adobe After Effects® CS3 Professional
Adobe Premiere® Pro CS3
Adobe Soundbooth™ CS3
Adobe Encore® CS3
Plus Adobe OnLocation™ CS3 (Windows® only) and Adobe Ultra® CS3 (Windows only)
Kinda pricey for a 30 day trial, I know, but they don't seem to offer After Effects by itself on a trial disc.
-
$24.99 is pricey for a trial, but let's face it... that's a pretty sweet package of trial software.
While I wish it wasn't $24.99 (or, anything, since it's just a trial), I think I'd pay for it if I needed any of those titles for PC.
-
lol i know how to rig trials so they last :)
