Title: Microsoft.net Framework 3.0 service pack1

Please can any one help me with this problem. My computer will not install Microsoft.net Framework 3.0 service pack1. I have a compaq Presario with windows xp profesional  and Pc Cillan is my anti virus protection. If any one can help I would gratefully apreciate it .

What version of Windows ?
All updates up to date ?
What is the error message ?
What site did you DLoad it from ?

I have windows XP profesional all up dates have been installed from the windows updates site except for this one it wont install ( it will down load to computer and tries to install but comes back didnot install
