Title: No sound at all on pc,not even the sound icon on the screen

Windows 98 sound icon nt on screen cant get sound

Go to 'Start'-'Settings'-'Control Panel'-'Multimedia' and see if 'show volume control on taskbar' is checked.  If not, check it and hit 'apply'. 

When you get it showing, right click it and check out your audio properties.
