Title: Firefox tabbed browsing *SOLVED*
Post by: neljan on February 29, 2008, 06:04:04 PM
Ok, so I've finally gave in & ditched IE for Firefox & I have to say that I'm very glad I did.

I kept IE for so long because I liked some of the features but once I found out that I could customize FF to a similar setting as my IE settings then that was it, bye bye IE.

The only little thing at the moment that I think IE has over FF is the way tabbed browsing works. With IE, you see part of a tab to the right of the active tab, when you click that it opens a new tab. With FF, I have to right click beside the active tab in the tab bar then select 'new tab' in the context menu.

Also, when I do open a new tab, I see nothing. I have to click on home etc. With IE, you can have the option of having a new tab automatically show your homepage.

do you have any suggestions? I can live with it, but I know how flexible FF is so I was hoping for a tweak/plugin.

Thanks

Tab Mix Plus...more customisation than you'll ever need.
