Title: cant find network or soundcard driver for xp

I have a brand new hp slimline s3300z that came with Vista and I switched it to wIndows Xp home edition. I can't get on the internet and I have no sound. I've looked all over for drivers and can't find any for my comp. or parts. anyone know where to get the drivers needed??
Here is a link that has most of the info w/ model numbers that you probably need to know.

This site (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=3659718&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&submit.y=6&submit.x=7&lang=en&cc=us) shows that the 3300 is for Vista only so drivers for use with XP may never have been available.

However you might be able to use PCI cards and maybe find drivers for them which will run in XP.

yeah thats what i thought. i think i will just try to put a new card and hope it works thanks

if this is any help, i went back to xp after trying vista and had same problems,i used the driver disk i got with motherboard,i know yours (if any) would be for vista but try finding out if your mb is compatable with xp(try to buy new one and read the spec

NOTE: XP SP2 must be installed first before installing these.
