Title: Pod Cast HELP

I need some help understanding what Pad Cast is and how it works??

I love the Radio Show Coast To Coast on AM every night.
And they say you can get Pod Casts of the Radio Show downloaded to your computer.
Is Pod Cast free and do you have to Install a program to get it??
I don't like installing programs for every little thing.
