Title: My printer's acting weird
Post by: kmcripn on January 23, 2005, 08:30:00 PM
Hello! Hoping for some pointers. My printer started having trouble printing. When I print the test page, all that prints is the Windows logo in the upper-left hand corner. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer and its drivers with no effect. Has this ever happened to anyone? Could it be a Windows issue?

Is this an injet printer?  If so, black cartridge is out of ink or not working.

Windows logo is printed using color cartridge.  Remainder is printed using black cartridge.

Boy, do I have a red face!!

My printer never had an alert so I assumed it was a different problem.  Boy do I feel silly!  I guess nothing is too basic, right?

Thanks a lot.

I think one of your cartridge has ran out. Check the ink using utility, usually provided by the company of your printer(If you have color printer). But first try your printer on some different PC to confirm that it is not windows problem.
