Title: Files and Settings Transfer Wizard Help
Post by: mad on January 24, 2005, 11:56:53 PM
Does the Wizard support the use of USB cables, and is it only for when you have a network setup?

Are there other ways to transfer files from one computer to another without using parallel cables, serial cables, or cat5/6 crossover cables?

Thanks.  I'm new at this, and I don't plan on keeping my old computer, so setting up a network would be useless.

mad......If you don't wish to setup a network to transfer files , you could either ......burn the files to cds and move them that way or even easier than that , remove the hard drive from the old pc and connect it temporarily as a slave on the new one ........copy the files you want and then put it back in the old one ...........

Hope this helps you .
