 ???I am trying to do an excel chart and I don't understand what formula to use we are comparing cost of living in several locationsIf I have the median incomes Locations:seatle,San Francisco,Dallas,Salt Lake City,Memphisand Boston Median Incomes:50993,74773,51099,46359,40439and 59758.determine how muchan employee would have to earn in other cities to maintain same standard of living as if company chose to relocate to Salt LakeCity and paid 75000.I am really desperate

Exactly what are you trying to do ?........produce a spreadsheet analysis or do a graphic presentation ?

what formula are you using for the mean. IS it the 'MEAN' function? or are you doing it in some other way?

I do not quite understand what problem you are having, could you please elaborate.

Thank you for your help ! by the grace of God ,one of my friends figured it out and showed the rest  of us how to do it. We were doing an income comparison chart to analyze different income needed in several areas with quite diversified median incomes and still all maintain the same standard of living.Isn't it amazing how easy it is to do something once you learn how?!!!     once again ,,,,,,,,thank you but mostly,God Bless You.
