Title: Stopped working

Whenever I try to close an internet window, a window pops up that says "internet explorer has stopped working" and then internet explorer restarts. I have had my laptop for about 2 months and this just started happening a couple of days ago. Does anyone have any idea on why this is happening? My internet works fine but I just find this highly annoying.

Windows version, IE version.
Did you try Firefox?

did you try closing by pressing alt f4?

You dont have mutiple tabs running do you?? when you close the browser?

Sometimes I have multiple tabs running but sometimes I don't. The thing is, it JUST started doing this.
