Help? I've searched through every post trying to find help on this one... I've got Win 98, and after start up it goes through the basic boot up, then the screen goes black (as if shutting down)... everything just sits there for about 20 seconds, then it brings me to my log in page... It works, but JDSR (Just Doesn't Sound Right) Please help?
Also, I try to run scandisk/ Defrag... and they just sit there with the hourglass, nothing happens and I can't even shut down... this is a newer problem as it didn't happen in the past...CTRL+ALT+DEL doesn't work for me either... so I have to pull the plug (ouch!) :'(
Please give me any info you can and keep it simple, because I'm not a comp. genius by any means!
