I have XP pro, IE6, and have BitDefender. I suddenly quit being able to logon to both Yahoo acct.s, but can logon to Hotail. Yahoo notifies me browser is refusing cookies. I've checked BD firewall, which is set to default medium, and no other firewalls are on. ???

Have you deleted cookies under tools and internet options lately? If not, do so and check your privacy tab and see what the slider is set on.
-
Thank you for the reply. I did clean out cookies, and privacy tab is on default, same as always. It appears I have a lot of MDMP, which means I had a small crash? Can that have anything to do with it? Myspace won't let me in now, either. Is that because my sign in address in Yahoo, which isn't working? Is this all related somehow? :(

Did you try Firefox?
-
Do I need that with BitDefender? Will they fight?
-
No. Firefox is another browser: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
This way, we can find out, if it's browser issue, or something else.
-
Thanks. So, I just access firefox and........?
-
Did you try to login to Yahoo?
-
I had to turn security off from all other sources because it conflicted with BitDefender. I won't have a problem?
-
What "other" security? What does your BitDefender include? AV, and firewall?
-
;D :-* Got firefox, and Yahoo DID let me log in!!! Yee-haww!(OK for "COOL!")
HA! "greenhorn"!
-
Very well :)
As for IE, try to upgrade to version 7.
-
I should have two browsers?
-
It's recommended. For troubleshooting purposes. IE can't be uninstalled anyway.
-
I think I can trust your advice, lol. Will do. And thanx so much! My pc is so much faster now, too!
-
You're welcome :)

Broni does it again. ;D
