Title: WinXP continuous loop on start up????
Post by: kylarn on June 21, 2008, 08:46:54 PM
HI,
I am usually able to solve most of my computer problems, but this one is wayyyyy beyond me.
I have Windows XP, and 2 separate operating systems. My main system had a Trojan virus and I have been working on getting rid of it for several days. I have ran the Microsoft virus programs, and Malwarebytes and i finally thought it was gone. I restarted my computer and now it just goes in a continuous loop and wont start my main system. I have tried in safemodes, last good config., and i disabled auto restart and got the error C000021a fatal error, system shutdown. I am able to log onto my second os fine.
Any ideas how to fix this?

If you have your x-p disc , try and repair the Os .  :)

Nope. A repair install just repairs Windows. None of your file will be lost.
