I am reading a lot on the net about DNS Cash and that you should clear it every now and then.

And you go to the command prompt and type
flus dns

But what is this realy doing and do you have to and when you do this is it doing something to your browser??

That's news to me.  I've never used the ipconfig /flushdns command.  Can you cite references which say "that you should clear it every now and then"?  My interpretation of an article at http://www.tech-faq.com/flush-dns.shtml is that it only need be used if certain problems are encountered.

@Nymph4: Flushing the DNS cache does not affect you browser in any way.
