Title: SECTOR UNREADABLE

WHEN I RUN A DISK CHECK IN DOS IT GOES TO 6% THEN STARTS TO RUN THROUGH THE SECTORS SAYING THAT THEY ARE UNREADABLE.  IS THERE ANY HOPE FOR THIS HARD DRIVE?!

what happens if you run defrag...command...run it in safe..mode..<scandisk> now what happens...is this a laptop drive..
