Hi,
My printer model is HP Deskjet 1622. It was printing colors until I installed a new catridge. I did so bse the previous catridge ran out of ink. When I print a test page, the colors appear, but when I print a picture or any document that has color, it prints out in grayscale. I also can't find the grayscale/color option checkbox for the printer. Can someone pls help me solve this problem?

try to read your printer manual

When you click print click on prefrences then go to color you'll see color options. Just change it to how you want.

Thanx for your help. I'll try to find my manual. I couldn't find the color options under the Preferences menu. Maybe a virus disabled it. :-\

Its probably some where else but I think thats where HP usually has it. All printers are differnt.

:-* Try following,
Click START -- SETTINGS -- PRINTERS AND FAXES
Now double click on the printer.
Click PRINTER menu and select PRINTING PREFERENCES
Click COLOR tab
Uncheck PRINT IN GREYSCALE and select AUTOMATIC.
Hopefully, should be resolved.
