Title: internet connection problems
Post by: jlexen on July 13, 2008, 07:51:12 PM
A couple days ago, after I started up my computer, I found that I couldn't use the internet. It seemed to know that I had an internet connection but I got the "The page cannot be displayed" message, and I can't sign into msn messenger. I tried using the same modem connection on another computer and it worked fine, but it still doesn't work on the first one.
I'm using Windows XP...I think a Dell 8400 or something like that. And I know I should supply more info about the computer, but I don't know what.

I know this sounds simple, but did u unplug it from the wall(power cord) and then plug it back in?  that works sometimes.  give that a shot, and then we can wrok from there.
