Title: No Internet Explorer and Now No Nero

hello,

I unplugged my pc for a thunderstorm last week and when I plugged it back in it has not been able to get internet explorer.   My provider said i have lost my ip address.   I replace modum and still no go. :-\
Now my NERO media player wont work either.

I am stuck.

please help.

"I had this occur and it was abroken ethernet cable."
"I agree, try cable first, if that makes no difference unplug cable and delete network connection under Network Connections in the control panel. Plug in Cable and it should re configure a fresh connection. Also try ipconfig /renew."
