Hey guys, it's my first time to post here. I have some question with my keyboard.
When I press the "Window" key (beside the ctrl) at the left side of keyboard, it shutdown directly. The right one "windows" key, it's normal as well.
The second problem is pressing "ctrl" will mute/unmute.
I didn't create any shortcut key or hot key before and not the virus.
Last, the key of " and @ changed to @ and ". When I press @, it display as ", and press " will show as @.
Does anyone have any solution? Thx!

Danged if right now I can remember where to get at the settings info - but you have what sounds like a reversal such that instead of US keyboard you are set for the UK one - which reverses these " and @ options. Not so sure about the win key tho.
I'll try and remember the way to set this - usually of course it's something set up at OS original install. I expect someone will be along to remind us!

First go through everything and make sure it is set up correct (like your locations, language, ect...).
If that doesn't fix the keyboard problem, let us know.

And you might want to test another keyboard, just to make sure.
Also, what protection do you have?

I doesn't fix the problem. I have kaspersky anti-virus. The problem just happened suddenly when i'm playing counter strike.

these seem like some additional function of some software.but you said that it come out suddenly.
I have used several keyboards,and now it's the 4th one.
The former ones come up with the problem much like yours when it's about to go bad.
I always use the CTRL regularly,CTRL+C,CTRL+x,CTRL+v,CTRL+s,CTRL+h,CTRL+f,CTRL+w,CTRL+q,CTRL+a,CTRL+1 .....
one of my broken keyboard comes up with problem before its deadth that : when I press CTRL key the start "menu popup", and when press WIN key the "task manager" show up.the "CTRL+" combines doesn't work any more.
the most important is I repaired it myself,although it does not work fine so long.
I remove screw nails with the screwdriver,open the keyboard cover,
there is a plastic flat(I googled but got nothing) in it , on the flat ,you can see many lines and points.
the flat sheet has 3 layers ,I found the lines next to each other a bit rusty and the lines somewhat crossed ,
then I use a eraser the erase the rusty out. and the keyboard work fine then,didn't work fine so long ,about couples of weeks.I spend a whole day to repair it :-\
at last ,there is two choices for you:
- repair it yourself a whole day ,and not sure if it will be OK
- buy a new one

Since you have apparently tried different keyboards and still have this problem, it's most likely a software issue. Just for the heck of it, you may want to go through our malware-removal process...

Heh, in my experience, every time I take apart a keyboard, I can't put it back together properly. It just flops everywhere.

I have put off the key caps,and wash them under the running water ,then put it back.
haha...

I 'm sure is not the problem of computer security. It must be some kind of troubleshooting or what. I don't smash my keyboard.So, i dont need to change keyboards. I have tried to reinstall my drivers and software for keyboards, but nothing changed.

First of all, you have two anti-virus programs running: Kaspersky and CA. You should only have one active anti-virus program running, so I strongly advise disabling and/or uninstalling one of these.
As for Alibabar, it is actually considered a form of adware. It is noted for being a buggy program and could possibly be causing the problem with your keyboard. It appears that SAS has removed it, but just to make sure, you should uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs if it still exists. You should also delete the C:\Program Files\Alibabar folder if this hasn't already been done. With the program gone, is there any difference in your situation?

Actually I have only one anti-virus active. I didn't install CA. Alibabar is a tool i am using long time. There was no problem before. .I have tried to remove it. The problem still exist.
