Hello All,
I recently Upgraded my RAM to 2GB, at the time of booting it showing this message " IC fail. Please enter setup to change OC fail settings" and it keep on showing that only..... until i press F1 to continue ....
Can any one please tell me why it was showing... is there any chip failure... Mine is HP dx2280MT system...

OC means over clocking; one component of your pc is set to a higher frequency.
You can load the fail safe in bios and set other options manually.
I would advise you to check the frequency and voltages first, It is found in bios itself.
