Title: Try to play Halo-Unload Debugger
Post by: gmcfan on August 26, 2008, 07:12:04 PM
Every time I try to play Halo on my computer I get an Unload Debugger message. I've already looked for things like antivirus programs and firewalls and stuff, and I can't find what this thing is talking about. Any help?

Going to need more info than that. (software wise)

What Halo game is this?

What is the exact error message?

It's the first Halo.

When I try to start it, a box pops up that says "A debugger has been detected" "Unload the debugger and try again"

Tried all five methods, still get the same message. Also don't have an audigy sound card anyway, using the onboard audio chipset.

Hmmm....Strange.....

You're not using a dev trainer or cheats or anything, are you? (I have read online that this may be the case).

Also, do you have any debugging or error-checking tools?

Also, when did it start?

Also, according to Google, try reinstalling your Video Card Drivers.

What video card do you have?

Cool!

Where is the best place to go to find an older driver for my card?

You should be able to roll back the driver in Device Manager.

I just installed this thing on a fresh install of windows XP, it's a brand new card out of the box too.

Can you try rolling back the driver though?

When I click "Roll Back Driver" it gives me a "No driver has been backed up for this device" error.
