Title: Enabling port in CMOS

I had to wipe my hard drive clean and make new partitions and then put in Windows 98SE. Now my monitor resolution and display are wrong and my modem doesn't work. In CMOS the port2 that the modem is on is listed as disabled. How do I enable it? I appreciate any help.
