Title: Outlook Express Spell Checker locked to French

I cannot use the spell check of Out Look express as it suggests French words for my English words.

I went Tools/Options/Spelling/Language,  a pull down menu, that only has French ie no other choices.

I've just got this new computer with XP Pro on it..

I read something about a language pack for Internet Explorer.

Any ideas appreciated

Outlook Express doesn't have its own spell checker.

It uses a spell checking module from one of your Office Suites.

Do you have Microsoft Office installed on your computer?  If so, check the language settings in it to see if its configured for English.  If not, change it and try using the spell checker again.
