Title: Motherboard sound drivers
Post by: Skinner on March 24, 2005, 08:47:02 AM
Hi I have a similar problem to someone earlier: I have installed XP and get no sound on boot or shutdown, but do have sounds once it is booted up. I have been told I need the motherboard chipset drivers. I have looked inside, and I see 'HP' and 'P48 MX'. I have tried google, but to no avail. Help?>

There's nothing wrong, it's working fine.  Just turn the volume up.

HI Go to control panel Sound and Devices open the sound tab and then tick the sounds you want on boot up and shutdown
