??? Well, it seems like all my songs and audio files are being played too fast in every single software except Windows Media Player... in there i can hear them ok... But cant with itunes, winamp, real player, other audio playing softwares.. and whenever i send my songs to someone else or store them in my mp3 they cant be played.. too fast... too chipmunk....
I have Windows XP SP3, and my sound card is a Realtek AC'97 Audio (driver version 5.10.0.6300).... Have 384 Mb of Ram.. and an AMD Athlon 64 Processor
Please help :(
-
Did you try to reinstall sound driver?
-
Yes i already did... :(
-
1. In Control Panel, open Sounds and Audio Devices.
2. On the Volume tab, in the Speaker settings area, click the Advanced button.
3. In the Advanced Audio Properties dialog box, click the Performance tab, and then adjust the Hardware acceleration slider control to adjust the clock timing for your sound card.
-
Already tried that... and restarted... doesnt help..
Something to point out... when i play the songs some of them work but it doesn't last long... they get screwed up after a while

I wanna see what audio is listed on your computer...
Download, and install Everest: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html (http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html)
Open it, click Computer, then Summary.
In upper menu, go Report>Quick Report-Summary
Save it in text file, and paste it in your next post.
Don't include anything under line Debug - PCI
-
Its in spanish... but i can translate it if you want..

What is the brand, and model of your computer?
In the meanwhile, try this driver: http://support.packardbell.com/fr/item/index.php?i=6961570100&ppn=PB34212402
-
Yup... tried those drivers... nothing....
My PC is an Emachines T6410... Tnxs... I know its quite frustrating
-
If you also tried sound driver from eMachines web site, and it doesn't work either, we may safely declare your on-board sound dead, or dying.
Most likely, you'll need real sound card.
-
Are you sure it has to do with the sound card??? :'( :'( :'(... Because windows media player plays the files..... So thats it? :-\ :-\

One more try. Get K-Lite Codec Pack Standard: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm
