I am in very bad need of some help and I have looked and can't find anything thus far. If it has already been posted I am sry as this is my first time to post on here, so if I do something wrong I apologize ahead of time.
When I am playing WoW on this laptop and I keep getting a error msg and I will get a black screen, it sits there like that for a few seconds, then it goes back to the game, it will do this over and over and over.....I can put down the game and I have to click on the error msg to make it go away. This used to happen just every now and then, but tonite it happened constantly so bad it cause me major problems trying to play the game. The error msg reads that the driver IGFX has failed and the system as recovered it. There are times when I put down the game the error is there sometimes 6x's!!!!!
I have a Gateway laptop just around a yr old. It is running Windows Vista Home Premium. The processor is Intel Pentium Dual T2310 @ 1.46GHZ 1.47 GHz, Memory is 1.00 GB, 32-bit Operating System. I can also add the product ID# if needed, but not sure I am supposed to do that.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would completely appreciate it! I feel like a total idiot for not being able to figure this out, but I have decided to ask..and see what happens!!!!
Thank you for any help!

Go ahead and run through this guide:
http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,62253.0.html
Steps are for Windows XP, but are similar in Windows Vista.
After following that and you still get black screens, let us know.

The recommended World of Warcraft system requirements.
Intel Pentium IV 1.5 GHz or AMD XP 1500+ MHz processor
1024 MB of RAM
64 MB 3D graphics card

Can you download Belarc and copy and paste the results here?

I gone thru the guide Carbon Dudeoxide put the link up and downloaded and ran all of that until I got down the msconfig....and I do not feel comfortable since there are a TON of tabs and check marks with things I have NO IDEA what they are or what they do!!! So....since I have run all above from that point and I also downloaded the Belarc also posted by street1 telling me to do so.....although I did run it, I have the results but I don't think you want me to add in here ALL it says since it so long....so let me know what all I should put in here!! I copied/pasted into a document to save what it found but I do not find everything I see on the webpage it opens on! So should I give you the link? Or what specific part? I am headed to try WoW now to see if it will work better!
Thanks so much for all the help thus far! Sorry I sound like a idiot!

Get another 1GB of RAM to make Vista happy.

You could try downloading and reinstalling your graphics drivers
--->GoHere (http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/getFile.asp?id=21322&uid=21393540)
Also, as mentioned by Broni 2GB ram would help a lot.
You can find your ram/memory upgrade--->Here (http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=ML6720&pl=gateway&cat=)
