Title: Socket help
Post by: nymph4 on November 19, 2008, 09:19:27 PM
I have a Motherboard that has a Socket AM2+ and the CPUs it supports are.

AMD PHENOM / ATHLON 64 X2 DUAL CORE / ATHLON 64 / SEMPRON

What is the Pin Number 780

I know the Pentiames are 775

Hi,
referring to the motherboards you have mention I think the 780 is not the socket pins,
but it is the chipset version.

Hope I am not misleading you

Both the AM2 and the AM2+ are a 940 pin array.
