Hello Ashutosh;

Suse Linux has one of the best tools that installs with good recommendation for partitioning and safe as any recommend or changes you would like to make will not effect your partition until your ready to install..Free, it is in the package.

Good luck
tom

Current versions of many Linux didtros have partitioning software. The hard part is that is if your NTFS is already damaged it can really mess it up. So first you make sure the files system and the drive is in perfect condition.  :)
But maybe you want to try something that works in windows. Here is one that is free and easy to use:  http://www.partition-tool.com/ (http://www.partition-tool.com/)
I have used it and it works OK.

I just found this site:

http://goodbye-microsoft.com/

Suppposedly you download the program and it installs Linux for you while you're still in windows. (I think they get you Debian linux though)

You can download ubuntu and install ubuntu right inside windows. And you can also uninstall it in case you are not satisfied with it (but I doubt you would uninstall it just because you didn't like it! ;D)
