Title: major problem with computer rebooking itself

hi all, i'm having a major problem with vista at the moment. i could be working away or surfing the net or running a programme when all of a sudden the screen goes completely blue in colour and the computer reboots itself thus losing all my work. can anyone help me? many thanks in advance
