Title: MODEM IP QUESTION
Post by: Ur2funny on December 30, 2008, 04:01:20 AM
I am US military station in Japan.  I have played a game called  Shot on line for 2 years now. (Golf Game)  Reciently, they now say they do not support Japan users.  I have a local Internet account.   So when I try an log in I am blocked.  BUt I had my brother in the states try to log in as me and it went right though no problem.  I need to find a way to hide or make it look like my modem IP is from the States.  Can anyone help please?

I tried a proxy server  but that only allowed me to log into the site.  (NOT the game ) The game is downloaded onto my computer and when it starts then it logs into their server.  I guess that is when it sees the IP address.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm afraid I cannot do anything.

My suggestion would be to contact the makers of the game and explain the situation.
